Clothing can only be considered beautiful if the process used to produce it preserves the integrity and beauty of this world and its people. When deciding what to wear, we have an obligation to consider how it’s made.
I have spent years building lasting and trusting relationships with small companies in India who embrace my vision of Nimo as becoming one big, global family, that creates beautiful things. I am committed to a culture and environment that is respectful, caring, nurturing and encouraging – and values creativity in all aspects.
QUALITY
The enjoyment, engagement and satisfaction of my clients is at the heart of my creation. Using precious natural materials like linen, silk and (mostly organic) cotton, I work with mindful suppliers who have an exceptional sense for quality and detail.
While we've been conscious about a sensible production process and valuing each other from the beginning, 2020 has been a milestone for us in terms of taking the collection to the next level of sustainability. Ever since our cotton pieces are crafted from organically sourced cotton. We are on an ongoing journey to find more ways to create beautiful stuff that is created in an even more beautiful way.SUSTAINABILITY
UNIQUENESS
I want to create pieces and accessories that stand out and turn heads – at attainable prices. We use block printing for a more bespoke collection. Women who wish to stand out against the backdrop of conformity welcome this exclusivity.
TAILORED
The tailoring is a bit slower but high-quality. I work with small businesses who sew a heritage of artisanal expertise into each and every piece of the Nimo collection. Each garment is hand-made with passion. It takes a whole village to turn a beautiful fabric into a wearable textile!
